Dave Grohl‘s Them Crooked Vultures bandmates have posted a new video in which they joke that the drummer was “rushed to the doctor” during a recording session due to a caffeine overdose.
According to the video, the [lastfm]Foo Fighter[/lastfm] frontman was “kind of a mess,” but he’s better now, after cutting back to a “healthier level.” It also shows bandmate and former [lastfm]Led Zeppelin[/lastfm] bassist John Paul Jones working on tracks for the band’s currently untitled sophomore release.
“Two weeks after this video was shot, Dave was rushed to doctor due to the onset of unwanted physical effects caused by too much caffeine. For reals,” the video says. “He was kind of a mess. Since then he has reduced his intake of the super delicious hot beverage to a healthier level.”
Though Them Crooked Vultures have not yet revealed any information about the new release, Jones did confirm that the band will release a new album sometime this year.
