pinkfloyd David Gilmour Blocked Pink Floyd ReunionAccording to Roger Waters, [lastfm]Pink Floyd [/lastfm]guitarist David Gilmour vetoed a possible Pink Floyd reunion tour. In a recent interview, Waters confirmed that the band pushed for a tour following their one-off reunion at Live 8 in 2005, but Gilmour said no.

According to reports, Waters said that Gilmour was completely disinterested in a possible Pink Floyd tour.

Waters has decided to carry on by himself in order to celebrate The Wall‘s 30th anniversary with a solo tour and a stage adaptation of the 1979 classic. Waters is working on the production with Billy Elliot playwright Ian Hall.

The Wall featured such hits as “Another Brick in the Wall (Part II)” and “Hey You.”
