Zombie Versions Of The Beatles Could Be Headed To Big Screen
[lastfm]The Beatles[/lastfm] could be headed back to the big screen yet again, only this time as zombies.
Film rights have been optioned to Alan Goldsher’s novel Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion. The movie deal was struck for the not-yet-published novel by studio Double Features.
The book tells the story of the Fab Four as zombies that seek fame and fortune, but must avoid zombie hunter Mick Jagger.
A more conventional Beatles movie is also in the works. Former [lastfm]Oasis [/lastfm]frontman Liam Gallagher is producing a film based on a memoir called The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary Of The Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire And Its Wild Rise And Fall.
The book, which was written by Richard DiLello and published in 1972, follows the band between 1967 and 1970 and provides an insider account of the band’s inner workings.
