[lastfm]Bret Michaels[/lastfm] has returned to the hospital after suffering what doctors call a “warning stroke.” The 47-year-old [lastfm]Poison[/lastfm] frontman and reality show star was hospitalized after experiencing numbness on the left side of his body, primarily in his face and hands.
Doctors have also diagnosed Michaels with a hole in his heart. The condition is treatable and reportedly not related to the brain hemorrhage he suffered last month.
“He has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again,” read a note on Michaels’ website, which also says that Michaels is walking and talking and his daily rehabilitation continues.
The singer is expected to appear in the finale of The Celebrity Apprentice in New York on Sunday. NBC has stated that it is “cautiously optimistic” he will be there.
