singersting1 Sting Symphonicity Tour Now Hitting U.K. And Europe[lastfm]Sting[/lastfm] has added a string of European and U.K. dates to his Symphonicity tour this fall, which will also feature the [lastfm]Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra[/lastfm].

The pop legend will kick off the run with a string of North American dates beginning in Vancouver on June 2 before turning to Europe for dates in Oslo, Norway; Copenhagen, Denmark; London; Gateshead, U.K.; Florence, Milan; and Rome.

Sting is expected to perform such hits as “Roxanne,” “Next To You,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Every Breath You Take,” “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You” and “Desert Rose.” The songs have been re-written with symphonic arrangements by [lastfm]Jorge Calandrelli[/lastfm], [lastfm]David Hartley[/lastfm], [lastfm]Michel Legrand[/lastfm], [lastfm]Rob Mathes[/lastfm], [lastfm]Vince Mendoza[/lastfm], [lastfm]Steven Mercurio[/lastfm], [lastfm]Bill Ross[/lastfm], [lastfm]Robert Sadin [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Nicola Tescari[/lastfm].

A studio album of the live concert arrangements will be released by Deutsche Grammophon this summer.
