[lastfm]Buckcherry[/lastfm] have confirmed that their new album, All Night Long, is set to hit stores on August 3. The offering is being produced by [lastfm]Marti Frederiksen[/lastfm], who is best known for his work with [lastfm]Aerosmith[/lastfm], [lastfm]Def Leppard [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Fuel[/lastfm].
The album will be Buckcherry’s first new studio set since their 2008 release, Black Butterfly, which peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200.
To show their appreciation to fans, the band offered up the album’s title track as a free download through their website and Twitter. The response was so heavy that Buckcherry had to temporarily disable the download because it had overloaded their bandwidth.
“Our fans are rad and we send them props for helping to overload Twitter! We are really proud of the new songs and can’t wait for everyone to hear the album,” frontman [lastfm]Josh Todd [/lastfm]said in a statement.
