Soussan has previously worked with [lastfm]Ozzy Osbourne [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Billy Idol[/lastfm], while Perez has worked with [lastfm]Steve Vai[/lastfm], [lastfm]Ronnie Wood [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Slash[/lastfm].

According to a statement on the band’s website, Carnival of Dogs will offer a selection of party favorites from some of the 1970s biggest bands.

“This 70s rock cover band will have you swinging from the rafters and singing along to every song,” the statement said. “They’ve also been known to have legendary special guest appearances joining in the festivities. Rocking cover tunes from the 70s by bands like [lastfm]Led Zeppelin[/lastfm], [lastfm]Deep Purple[/lastfm] and [lastfm]AC/DC [/lastfm]they’re sure to bang out everyone’s favorite.”

It seems that Sorum and Guns haven’t grown too far out of their hard partying GN’R ways, as they promise that “the bar for all debauchery has just been raised.”
