Wendy’s has reportedly ceased distributing a disco karaoke CD with its children’s’ meals because of a racy lyric in [lastfm]Donna Summer[/lastfm]‘s 1978 song “Last Dance.”
The CD was originally meant to include a version of the song in which Summer sings the line “I’m so bad.” Its manufacturers, however, mistakenly included a version in which she sings “I’m so horny” instead.
“Last Dance” was originally released as part of the soundtrack to the 1978 film Thank God It’s Friday, and went on to become one of Summer’s biggest hits. It won an Oscar and Golden Globe for best original song, and has gone on to sell five million copies.
In 2008, Summer released her most recent album, Crayons, through Sony’s Burgundy Records. The album was the singer’s first new studio release since 1991’s Mistaken Identity and peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200.
