Puddle Of Mudd Lose Bassist
[lastfm]Puddle of Mudd[/lastfm] have announced that their longtime bassist, [lastfm]Doug Ardito[/lastfm], has left the group. Ardito joined the band in 1999 and offered his support not only as a bassist, but also as a songwriter.

Puddle of Mudd, who are currently touring in support of their album Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate, will replace Ardito with [lastfm]Damien Starkey[/lastfm], a friend of the band. Starkey will join the band for the remainder of its summer concert engagements and until a new bassist is found.
Puddle of Mudd will next be performing as part of the Carnival of Madness tour with [lastfm]Shinedown[/lastfm], [lastfm]Sevendust[/lastfm], [lastfm]10 Years[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Chevelle[/lastfm]. The tour kicks off on July 16 in Jacksonville, Florida.
