ronniewood 093009 Ronnie Wood Brings News Of Upcoming Solo Album[lastfm]Rolling Stone[/lastfm] guitarist [lastfm]Ronnie Wood[/lastfm] has released some details about his forthcoming solo effort I Feel Like Playing.

The new disc will feature guest contributions from ex-[lastfm]Guns ‘n Roses [/lastfm]guitarist [lastfm]Slash[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Red Hot Chili Peppers [/lastfm]bassist [lastfm]Flea[/lastfm]. It will be Wood’s first solo project since his 2001 release Not For Beginners.

Along with the new album, Wood will also join [lastfm]The Faces [/lastfm]reunion shows this summer behind [lastfm]Simply Red [/lastfm]front man [lastfm]Mick Hucknall[/lastfm].

Though Wood has not yet offered a release date for the new album he has confirmed the track list:
