The Jackson estate has given the green light for a new video game using [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]‘s image. The “dance karaoke” game includes a dancing MJ avatar, which players are meant to imitate.
Each player’s avatar will be displayed next to the King of Pop on the screen and they will be judged on their full body movements. Microsoft’s new Kinect motion capture technology will be used to create the game.
The technology will allow gamers to play hands-free, without having to operate a controller. The game also has an autotune feature, which will give players the chance to sing MJ songs like “Billie Jean.”
The game will be available on different game systems, such as Wii and Xbox 360, and is set to be on shelves before the holiday season.
