Will.i.am To Be Honored On Hollywood Walk Of Fame
[lastfm]Will.i.am[/lastfm] has been chosen to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced last week that that the [lastfm]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm] frontman, along with a slew of other musicians and actors, would be honored with the star in 2011.
Will.i.am continues to top the summer charts with his featured vocals in [lastfm]Usher[/lastfm]‘s current hit, “OMG,” which has reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He is also a music producer for such artists as [lastfm]Daddy Yankee [/lastfm]and has won seven Grammys along with the rest of his Black Eyed Peas bandmates.
The three most anticipated celebrities who are also receiving stars on the Walk of Fame in 2011 are [lastfm]Oprah Winfrey[/lastfm], the [lastfm]Muppets[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Buddy Holly[/lastfm].
Other celebrities set to be inducted include [lastfm]Melissa Etheridge[/lastfm], [lastfm]Reese Witherspoon[/lastfm], [lastfm]Penélope Cruz[/lastfm], [lastfm]Gwyneth Paltrow[/lastfm], [lastfm]Tina Fey[/lastfm], [lastfm]Danny DeVito[/lastfm], the [lastfm]Go-Go’s[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Rascal Flatts[/lastfm].
