Whitesnake To Bottle And Sell Their Own Wine
[lastfm]Whitesnake[/lastfm] has announced plans to produce and sell their own brand of wine. A statement from frontman [lastfm]David Coverdale[/lastfm] revealed that the new wine will be called Whitesanke Zinfandel.
Coverdale describes the wine as a “bodacious, cheeky little wine, filled to the brim with the spicy essence of sexy, slippery Snakeyness.” He recommends the wine for “all grown up friskiness and hot tub jollies.”
Coverdale then asks, “Is this love? I believe it is.”
Whitesnake are not, however, the only rockers to get into the wine business. [lastfm]Tool[/lastfm]‘s [lastfm]Maynard James Keenan[/lastfm] has his own wine, Caduceus Cellars, while [lastfm]Kip Winger[/lastfm] hawks Bottled Salty Tears.
Whitesnake Zinfandel will be available in stores on July 1.
