[lastfm]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm] will be re-releasing his fourth album, 1978’s Darkness on the Edge of Town. The LP will feature unreleased material and remastered tracks.
[lastfm]E Street Band[/lastfm] guitarist [lastfm]Steve Van Zandt[/lastfm] told U.K. radio, “We put 10 or so outtakes on the ‘Tracks’ box set and we [have since] found 10 more. I’m not sure how many we’ll put on there.”
He added, “We’ll go back and he might finish a lyric on one or two, or finish a harmony on one or two, but we’ll keep them intact pretty much.”
“They’re all fantastic,” Van Zandt noted. “[It’s] going to be a really fun reissue.”
Darkness on the Edge Of Town, which was the follow-up to 1975’s classic Born To Run, included the hits “Badlands,” “Prove It All Night” and “The Promised Land.”
