[lastfm]George Michael [/lastfm]has found himself back in hot water after crashing his car into a photo shop near his home in North London. According to a new report from the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Michael was not tested for alcohol use but was taken into custody and later released on bail.
“Police were called at approximately 3:30 AM on Sunday to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building. Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive,” a spokesperson for London’s Metropolitan Police tells the newspaper.
“He was taken to a north London police station and later bailed to return on August 13 pending inquiries.”
In 2007, the singer was banned from driving for two years after he was found to have been driving under the influence of drugs. The accident occurred near the same neighborhood in which Michael was caught soliciting anonymous sex in 2006.
