[lastfm]David Bowie [/lastfm]has announced the re-release of his classic 1976 album Station to Station. The reissue will come out in both 3-CD and 5-CD versions, scheduled to hit stores on September 20.
Along with the original album, the new sets will include two discs worth of live material taken from a previously unreleased performance at Nassau Coliseum in 1976. It will also feature a 16-page booklet and three postcards.
The deluxe edition will include the 1985 CD master of the album, along with a five-track EP of single edits. There will also be a 12″ vinyl version of the album and two 12″ vinyl records of the Nassau Coliseum show.
Station to Station is Bowie’s tenth studio album. It reached number three on Billboard‘s pop albums chart when it was released in 1976. It includes the songs “Golden Years” and “TVC 15.”
