[lastfm]The Eagles[/lastfm] are disputing ticket sales figures released by Pollstar. The band’s ongoing Long Road Out of Eden tour has sold 440,569 tickets for a total income of $48.7 million so far this year.
The impressive figures would place the classic rock legends at number two on Pollstar’s mid-year list of the top tours, but according to the band, they only included stats from six of their headlining shows.
The Eagles are also making headlines this week with the announcement of more dates on their epic tour, which kicked off back in March of 2008. The band will now play two festival dates in the U.S. in October before heading to Australia for a six-show run in December.
