Clapton’s Crossroads Fest Coming To Theaters This Month
[lastfm]Eric Clapton[/lastfm] is teaming up with NCM Fathom and Rhino Entertainment to bring his 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival to 475 movie theaters around the country. On July 27, the guitar legend will host a one-night-only special that will include performances and interviews by many of the fest’s top acts.
Along with Clapton, the two-hour special will feature the likes of [lastfm]ZZ Top[/lastfm], [lastfm]Steve Winwood[/lastfm], [lastfm]B.B. King[/lastfm], [lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm], [lastfm]Vince Gill[/lastfm], [lastfm]Sheryl Crow[/lastfm], [lastfm]Buddy Guy[/lastfm] and [lastfm]John Mayer[/lastfm]. The entire special will be shown in HD and will also give audiences a glimpse of life backstage at the event.
In other recent Clapton headlines, the guitarist has confirmed a performance at the upcoming Prince’s Trust Rock Gala, set to take place in November at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The event will also feature performances by [lastfm]Tom Jones[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Queen[/lastfm]‘s [lastfm]Brian May[/lastfm].
