[lastfm]U2[/lastfm] has reportedly connected with producer and [lastfm]BLACKstreet[/lastfm] member [lastfm]Dave Hollister[/lastfm] to rework a few tracks.

According to various reports, the producer is cooking up new versions of “Grace” from 2000’s All That You Can’t Leave Behind and “All I Want Is You,” from 1989’s Rattle and Hum.

The Irish rockers are also making headlines with their newly re-scheduled North American tour dates. The dates were initially shelved after [lastfm]Bono[/lastfm] slipped a disk in his back and underwent emergency surgery earlier this year. The band was forced to cancel 16 shows worth an estimated $152 million.

The North American run wil now kick off on May 21, 2011, in Denver and run through July 23, when it will wrap up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They will resume their European dates next month in Turin, Italy, on August 6.
