Last week, former [lastfm]Guns N’ Roses[/lastfm] drummer [lastfm]Steven Adler[/lastfm] released his new tell-all memoir My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns N’ Roses.
In a recent interview with BostonHerald.com, the former drug addict opened up on his relationship with [lastfm]Axl Rose[/lastfm] and his long road to recovery. According to Adler, the original GN’R line up could get back together some day, but it all hinges on Axl.
“It’s not up to [lastfm]Slash[/lastfm] or [lastfm]Duff [McKagan][/lastfm] or [lastfm]Izzy [Stradlin],[/lastfm] who wouldn’t do it for the money but for the fans,” he said. “It’s all an Axl deal. He’s got to be the one to say OK. But I won’t pray to God to talk to Axl because if God tried to talk to Axl, he’d make him wait.”
He added, “So I’m not going to bother God with that because he’ll come back to me saying, ‘Steven, you made me go talk to him and the (expletive) made me wait outside all day.”
My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns N’ Roses hit stores on July 27
