primus img Primus Share FREE Live EP As plans are underway for the first album since the 1999  release of  “Antipop“, [lastfm]Primus[/lastfm] embarks on a headlining tour along with a handful of tracks from tour rehearsals at the [lastfm]Primus[/lastfm] Headquarters in San Rafael, California.

Percussionist Jay Lane left his collaborative project with [lastfm]Phil Lesh [/lastfm]in March of this year to return to [lastfm]Primus[/lastfm].

In May, [lastfm]Primus[/lastfm] announced a new tour correlating with this announcement, the [lastfm]Primus[/lastfm] website was updated with an animation of an elevator and a sign reading, “PRIMUS WILL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY.”

The EP (available on the official website)  includes new recordings of “Pudding Time”, “American Life”, “Duchess and the Proverbial Mind Spread” and “Harold of the Rocks” and feature Jay Lane on drums.
