[lastfm]Van Halen[/lastfm]‘s music publisher Warner/Chappel report that [lastfm]Van Halen[/lastfm] has reunited with [lastfm]David Lee Roth[/lastfm] and currently recording their first album in decades, due to release in 2011.
And a tour may not be that far behind. [lastfm]David Lee Roth[/lastfm], [lastfm]Eddie Van Halen[/lastfm], [lastfm]Alex Van Halen[/lastfm] and bassist Wolfgang Van Halen have all lined up with contract negotiations for a 2011 American Tour.

Original bassist, Michael Anthony was replaced by [lastfm]Eddie Van Halen[/lastfm]‘ s son, Wolfgang, in 2006.
Van Halen has not asked Michael Anthony to join the reunion. Anthony continues collaborating with former [lastfm]Van Halen [/lastfm]frontman [lastfm]Sammy Hagar[/lastfm] in the rock supergroup, [lastfm]Chicken Foot[/lastfm].
