Slash Throws Out Song With Steven Tyler

slash Slash Throws Out Song With Steven Tyler[lastfm]Slash[/lastfm] recently ditched a collaboration with [lastfm]Steven Tyler[/lastfm] that was supposed to be a part of his new solo album because of the pressure from [lastfm]Aerosmith[/lastfm]‘s record label.

“I worked with Steven for a second, but it was just a huge conflict of interest with Aerosmith,” he told Ultimate Guitar. “The song hasn’t been used with anybody else, but there was no chance that the record company was gonna allow us to release it, so we had to let it go.”

Earlier this year, the former [lastfm]Guns N’ Roses[/lastfm] guitarist released his debut self-titled solo album, which features several guest vocalists including the [lastfm]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm]’ [lastfm]Fergie[/lastfm], [lastfm]Ozzy Osbourne[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Motörhead[/lastfm] frontman [lastfm]Lemmy[/lastfm].
