[lastfm]U2[/lastfm] announced more details regarding their upcoming 360° tour of Australia and New Zealand on Australian television on Monday. The biggest news for the band is that the Irish rockers have tapped hip-hop star [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] as their opening act.
U2’s 360° tour kicks off Down Under at Auckland’s Mount Smart Stadium on November 25, and will wrap up in Perth on December 18. The tour will mark U2’s first shows in Western Australia in more than a decade, and the first time Jay-Z has performed in the country since 2006. It will also mark Jay-Z’s first ever performances in New Zealand.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale September 3 and start at as low as $40.
