Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has joined forces with [lastfm]The Cool Kids[/lastfm] for his latest single, “Jump Down.” A 3-D video for the track is slated to premiere on October 11.

The release contains an embeddable widget through which fans can enter their email address, download the track for free, and have a pair of 3-D glasses sent to their house in time for the video’s release.

A launch party for the video will be held on Thursday, October 7 at Los Angeles’ Music Box.

Barker, who has produced remixes for [lastfm]Jay-Z[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Rihanna [/lastfm]in the last few years, will soon release his solo debut Give the Drummer Some.

The album goes on sale in October and features collaboration with the [lastfm]Neptunes[/lastfm], [lastfm]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm], [lastfm]Eminem[/lastfm],[lastfm]Drake[/lastfm], [lastfm]T.I.[/lastfm], [lastfm]Lil Wayne,[/lastfm] Rihanna, [lastfm]Tom Morello[/lastfm], [lastfm]Corey Taylor[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Transplants[/lastfm].
