Pinkerton or Blue…what [lastfm]Weezer[/lastfm] album do you prefer?
Weezer has added two special dates to their current ‘Memories’ tour. While the band is scheduled to make five regular tour stops over the next month, the band will also stage four very special shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco. They will perform two shows per city, playing their 1994 Blue album the first night, then playing their 1996 Pinkerton album the second night in each city.
The first pair of these special shows will take place at Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre on November 26 and 27. Both shows will also feature a selection of the band’s greatest hits, along with new songs of their latest album, Hurley, which was released earlier this month.
Following the Los Angeles gigs, the band will then move the show to San Francisco’s Nob Hill Masonic Center on November 29 and 30 for a similar pair of performances.
More of these dual performances are expected to follow.
