Report: Vikings Waive Moss
The Minnesota Vikings have waived wide receiver Randy Moss, according to WCCO‘s Mike Max.
Moss played just three games with the Vikings after being traded from the New England Patriots.
Moss had just one catch for 8 yards in his first trip back to Foxborough since he talked himself out of town on Oct. 6. After the game, he talked with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick on the field and the two shared a long hug.
“It was hard for me to come here to play, an up and down thing. I was on a roller coaster all week,” said Moss. “To see these guys running plays and I know what they are doing, I know what type of feeling they have in the locker room,” he told the media after the game.
Moss had not spoken to reporters since Oct. 13, taking a $25,000 fine from the NFL for failing to cooperate with the media.
Moss caught 50 touchdowns in 52 games during his time with the Patriots, but did draw a few boos as he and the Vikings took the field for their first series against the Patriots on Sunday
