Bruce Springsteen is making a difference with his new incredible box set… and Jimmy Fallon is the First in Line.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruce Springsteen[/lastfm] is set to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon next week to promote his new box set The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story. The show will air on November 16 on NBC.
The collection, on six CDs, brings 21 previously unreleased tracks to light along with the original album. The Boss has also teamed up with HBO for a new documentary, also called The Promise, about the Darkness on the Edge of Town album. The documentary debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Springsteen made headlines earlier this month when he appeared at the “Stand Up For Heroes” benefit concert at New York City’s Beacon Theater. The show took place on Wednesday, November 3 and Springsteen performed “Open All Night,” “Kitty’s Back” and “If I Should Fall Behind,” all backed by his longtime drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Max Weinberg[/lastfm].
Proceeds from the show went to Bob Woodruff Foundation, which helps veterans recover from the physical and psychological trauma of war.
