Minnesota definitely needs more sweet festivals like this…
The [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Foo Fighters[/lastfm] have been announced as the Saturday night headliner for next year’s Isle Of Wight Festival.
Dave Grohl’s band, who headlined the fest in 2006, will play after [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pulp[/lastfm], while [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kings Of Leon[/lastfm] will headline the night before. The Isle Of Wight Festival is scheduled to take place between June 10 and 12.
The Foo Fighters are currently at work on a new studio album, which is set for release sometime next year. This will be their seventh studio album and the follow-up to 2007′s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
The group is also rumored to be headlining Scotland’s T In The Park festival next July.
Isle Of Wight tickets go on sale on Friday, November 19 at 9 AM.
