Are the troops members of the KISS army?[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]KISS[/lastfm] bassist [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gene Simmons[/lastfm] has signed on to host next year’s Aces & Angels Salute to the Troops, set to take place at Centennial Hall in Dallas on Wednesday, February 2 from 6 PM to 1:30 AM.
The event will play host to over 1,000 Texas-based servicemen and women and will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and the USO.
“There is one man who will blow the roof off Dallas and that man is Gene Simmons. This is absolutely the one event that you definitely don’t want to miss,” Executive Producer Michael Eakman says in a statement.
Along with Simmons, the event will include performances by the group Five For Fighting and country stars Little Texas. It will also serve as the site for this year’s Texas State Poker Championships. The $100,000 tournament will decide who represents the state of Texas in the World Series of Poker.
