New video from the late, great King of Pop

The music video has surfaced for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]‘s newest song “Hold My Hand,” featuring Akon. The video begins with people saying “We love you Michael” and then releasing balloons into the air.

Footage of Jackson from his various concerts and appearances then follows. The video also shows people crying and struggling, contrasted with sections where kids are dancing, laughing, smiling, and engaging in pillow fights. The video ends with a picture of the King of Pop before fading out.

Most of the songs that were put on his new posthumous album, titled Michael, were tracks Jackson recorded while touring in locations such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas. 50 Cent and Lenny Kravitz also make appearances on the disc.

“Hold My Hand” serves as the first single released off of Michael, which his stores December 14.
