likecrazy Sundance 2011: Film Festival Award Winners

"Like Crazy," a Grand Jury Prize winner for 'Best Film' (Sundance)

We love award shows–the glitz, the glamour, the fashions, and all those shiny white teeth. And with the Grammys next week and the Oscars just around the corner, we’ve definitely got the fever! Of course, not every award program is such a high-profile, industry-sanctioned event–and not everyone who watches is focused solely on who’s wearing what. Which is why we’re all about the Sundance Film Festival, one of the largest independent film festivals that takes place annually in Utah where what you wear doesn’t quite matter–it’s the film from these small-town directors in hopes of making it into Hollywood one day.

So, if you’re interested in seeking out films made outside of Hollywood, check out this year’s biggest winners at Sundance. From Drak Dremus‘ drama taking home the grand jury prize for Best Film Like Crazy to Martha Marcy May Marlene, winning a directing award for Sean Durkin, here is a complete list of  winners.
