Last night’s Glee was one of our favorites of the season. Slight spoiler alert: two characters admitted they are gay, New Directions got a new-old member, they sang “Born This Way” from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], and we got to see Quinn Fabray before she was “perfect.”
We love when popular girls have mini-meltdowns on television.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
The theme of the show was imperfections and insecurities. Of course, Rachel breaks her nose and wants to get a nose job–specifically Quinn’s nose. Mr. Schue and Emma get the fancy idea that they should make shirts that have their biggest weakness in giant letters on them and sing Gaga’s “Born This Way.”
Here’s a list of “character flaws”:
Finn: Can’t Dance
Mercedes: No Weave
Quinn: Lucy Caboosy
Mike: Can’t Sing
Puck: I’m With Stupid (arrow pointing down)
Brittany: I’m With Stoopid (arrow pointing up)
Kurt: Likes Boys
Mr. Schue: Butt Chin
Sam: Trout Mouth
Artie: Four Wheels
Tina: Brown Eyes
Lauren: Bad Attitude
Santana: Lebanese (was supposed to be Lesbian, but Brittany spelled it wrong)
Which begs the question: What are you most insecure about, but you were “Born This Way,” so you embrace your “flaw?” For me, it’s my big hips that are always huge no matter what weight I am.
Divulge your insecurity to the world! Let us know in the comments and let’s all celebrate how we were “Born This Way!”
