[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pink Floyd[/lastfm]‘s iconic album artwork for their legendary 1973 release Dark Side of the Moon has been voted as the greatest album cover of all time in a poll of musicians and rock fans for music website MusicRadar.com.

The album’s artwork, a single ray of light split by a prism into a colorful array, beat out [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nirvana[/lastfm]‘s Nevermind. The grunge classic came in second and the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beatles[/lastfm] Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band took the third spot. The album cover was created by the design team Hipgnosis.
