AC/DC’s Brian Johnson’s book is not your typical celebrity autobiography.
He explained the book in an interview with Billboard magazine: “I hate autobiographies. I think they’re boring and rotten, and I’m not interested. It’s usually some bitter old git doing a tell-all to get back at everybody.”
He added that he would like to write another volume of stories: “Man, I’ve got a million [stories]. If I could do it (a second book) without stepping on anybody’s toes, I think that would be quite fun. As long as it wasn’t negative.”
Earlier this year, Johnson hinted that AC/DC might be touring in support of a 40th anniversary album, though he added: “We never ever say ‘We’re going in the studio January next year’ – if you do that you’re straight under pressure, and we’ve never worked like that.”
