North Metro Locations:
Celebrate the Fourth of July a night early for Anoka’s fireworks show on July 3rd at Anoka High School. Sparks go off at dusk.
Come and enjoy a live DJ 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and ooh and ahh at the fireworks over Sand Creek Park on Independence Day. The show begins at 10 p.m.
Party in the park for Roseville’s Rosefest 2011! There will be festivities all day long, including a fireworks display when the sun sets.
South Metro Locations:
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and sit on the practice football field at Lakeville North High School for Lakeville’s Fourth of July celebration. Enjoy music, a silent auction and concessions in addition to the fireworks. Check out the website for more details.
The Eagan July 4th Funfest ends with a spectacular fireworks show over Central Park. Check out the website for details. Enjoy a “Summer Under the Stars and Stripes” all day with the Yankee Doodle Parade at 10 a.m., a car show from noon – 5 p.m., a free Texas Hold ’em tournament from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., and a Fun Fest concert featuring the Dweebs from 8 p.m. – Midnight. There will be a Fun Fest carnival and vendors all day from noon to midnight, plus special displays from Underwater Adventures, Mad Science, and the Pat Peare School of Dance. And of course, some of the best fireworks in Minnesota will go off at dusk for your visual pleasure.
Bring your blanket and lawnchair to Veteran’s Park for the annual 4th of July fireworks celebration. Viewing areas available at both 64th St. and Portland Ave. S. or 66th St. and Chicago Ave. S. There are events scheduled throughout the day before the fireworks.
Come to Lake Ann Park for a special and spectacular fireworks display launched from the east shore of Lake Ann. Sparks go off at 10 p.m.
After lots of pre-fireworks activities, visitors to Johnny Cake Ridge Park will see some spectacular fireworks at 10 p.m. with, as the City of Apple Valley says, a legendary grand finale.
Specialty Pyrotechnics will be putting on the fireworks show in Prior Lake. The high in the sky entertainment starts around 10 p.m.
Hastings Country Club will be hosting the annual 4th of July fireworks display.
East Metro Locations:
White Bear Lake’s 4th of July celebration
Bring your blankets and lawnchairs to the annual fourth of July celebration at Tanner’s Lake Park. Fireworks begin at 10 P.M.
Beginning at 7pm the Dakota Valley Pops Orchestra will perform at Lowell Park and the St. Croix Valley Jazz Orchestra will perform at Pioneer Park. Enjoy fireworks choreographed to music in downtown Stillwater in Lowell Park over the beautiful St.Croix River. Show beings at dusk. Make sure to come early to get your spot!
Bring your blanket and lawn chair to Ojibway Park. Fireworks begin at 10 P.M.
Kingston Park will be the backdrop for the Cottage Grove fireworks display this year.
West Metro Locations:
Concessions, vendors and a performance by Stevie and the Table Rockers celebrate the fourth of July in Aquila Park. The specatular fireworks show starts at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Celebrate the Fourth of July at Round Lake Park. Fireworks begin at 10 P.M.
Fireworks will be displayed over Lake Minnetonka at 10 P.M.
Instead of fireworks this year, Edina will be hosting an Independence Day Parade on July 3rd at 10 A.M. The parade will take place near Edina’s City Hall.
Bloomington celebrates Independence Day at its Summer Fete a day early with lots of activities and live music—including the Power of Ten and the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra—and fireworks at dusk.
