Jack went to Target Field and got a chance to take a taste at some of the new food coming for this Twins baseball season!  Take a peek!

The Minnesota Twins and Target Field will continue to offer concessions and food from Delaware North Sportservice. The Twins and Sportservice have worked together to expand the menu by now offering local craft beers and other new specialty foods. The Twins already offer food from Pepsi, Schweigert, Klement’s, Barrel O’ Fun, Caribou Coffee, Angie’s Kettle Corn, Fisher Nuts, and Palermo’s.

The first new food item is from Minnesota’s Iron Range. Valentini’s Supper Club is located in Chisholm and Duluth. Sportservice will be serving Valentini’s Mega Meatball. It is a cheese-stuffed meatball served with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese.

If you go to the Minnesota State Fair, you may be familiar with The Preferred Pickle. The Preferred Pickle will be offering their deep fried pickle chips served with ranch dressing on the side. Delicious!

The Twins have also added a baked potato bar. The baked potato bar will be featuring four varieties of jumbo potatoes. The first potato will include: nacho cheese, salsa, and sour cream. The second type of potato will have: cheddar and broccoli. The third type of baked potato will be a classic baked potato with: bacon, sour cream, and chives. The bar will also feature a jumbo yam topped with maple butter and crushed pecans.

Garlic Fries will make their debut at Target Field. Two food items from The Food Network brand will be offered including Bacon Sloppy Joe and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese. SuperMom’s Mini Donuts, found throughout SuperAmerica convenience stores will be offered in three varities: sugar, cinnamon, and cinnamon and sugar. LeAnn Chin will offer chicken stir fry in a red chile sauce or vegetarian stir fry in a teriyaki sauce. Person’s Candy will offer the Salted Nut Roll. The Twins have also formed a partnership with B. Smith Olive Oil. This is a locally-produced, minority-owned business. The olive oil will be used throughout the premium seating areas at Target Field.

Many other favorites are back as well this year including: Murray’s Steak Sandwich, Tony O’s Cuban Sandwich, Turkey to Go, Walk A Taco, and Minneapple Pie.

You need something to drink with all of this food… Anheuser-Busch remains as the official beer partner of the Minnesota Twins. However, the Twins have expanded their selection of local craft beers. They have added brews from Surly, Fulton, Summit, Finnegans, Schell’s, Lifton Bridge, Granite City, and Cold Springs Brewery.

Sounds like some amazing food options for this baseball season at Target Field!
