It’s April, that means it is Think Green Month.  JACK wants you to be green this month.  The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation is celebrating Think Green Month.  They announced they will help fans implement a more eco-friendly lifestyle.  Think Green Month asks that organizations and events help preserve and protect the environment.

The Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation will award a $5,000 grant and a Think Green Competition award winner.  At the Target Center, for each home game, the Timberwolves will recognize organizations or people who have helped preserve and improve the environment.  They will be considered Heroes in the Making.  The Wolves are also airing an in-game public service announcement that promoting being green.  The NBA also has a Green Week that runs April 4-11.

Everyone here in the Twin Cities can participate in Think Green Month!  Think of ways you can reduce your carbon footprint and think about how you can positively impact the environment.
