We all know how addictive shopping at Target can be, but crashing a car into the retail giant is going a bit far. 79-year-old Norma Jean Brennan of Ocla, Florida was behind the wheel getting driving tips in the parking lot of a local Target before a trip to the DMV when she accelerated into the side of the building.
According to Huffington Post, Brennan had held a driver’s license for 50 years before it was suspended due to a medical condition. Rev. Kevin Hosapple was giving her a few driving tips in his vehicle when her foot missed the brake and hit the gas pedal, careening into the Target.
No one was injured in the accident, but both Brennan and Hosapple received citations. Brennan was cited for driving on a suspending license, and Hosapple was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate his car.
