Some people make mistakes, some people are in the wrong place at the wrong time and some people should just find a different day job.  These news anchors found infamy in embarrassment by partaking in some of the biggest bloopers in news history.

An Asiana flight made headlines this month when it crashed on the runway at San Francisco airport, injuring most of the people on board.  The flight was also occupied by a class of Chinese students and so far, it has taken the lives of three individuals.  While the story is heartbreaking to say the least, a news program in Oakland, California was duped when the NTSB released the supposed names of the four pilots.  Of course, the names were a joke and someone at the NTSB surely got reprimanded for this one.

Unfortunately, the news anchors didn’t verify their sources when they assumed the pilots name were “Sum Ting Wong”, “Ho Lee Fuk” and more.

AJ Clemente has the worst first day ever.

Here’s a note… if you’re reporting a sled race down a hill, don’t stand in the middle of the sledders.  I figured that would be common sense.

Well we know exactly what was on this news anchor’s mind while talking about Jennifer Lopez.  ”More likely to give her a curb job than a ______”. Yep.

This is probably one of the most famous news bloopers of all time, when an anchor goes head to head with grape stomping at a vineyard.  Those slippery suckers won in the battle of Grape vs. Anchor.

This news anchor was reporting on a local bird infestation.  Our advice?  Don’t look up while opening your mouth, bad things will happen.

A Minnesota reporter gets tackled by her camera man after a play goes terribly awry in a restaurant.

The job description for any live news program anchor is ‘quick recovery’ and sometimes, things happen that are out of your control.  Like a spider on the camera that scares the bejeezus out of you.
