Sebastian Bach Was Onced Tapped To Be Motley Crue’s Frontman

In an alternate musical universe, Sebastian Bach could have been the frontman of a little band named Motley Crue.

After the Crue split with Vince Neil in the early ’90s, Bach was a frontrunner to take his place.

A fan asked Bach via Twitter if he was ever considered to take over and Bach replied, “Not considered. Asked.”

Bach went on to explain with regret: “The short answer is that I actually thought at the time this band Skid Row was better…Gee I sure know how to pick ‘em.”

Neil is now back in the Crue fold and the band is planing on playing a 12-song series at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino starting September 18. They have also been discussing their Farewell Tour for next year.

Skid Row, well. We don’t have to go into that, now do we?
