Metallica released their 11th studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct on Friday (Nov. 18) and reached back to their roots by staging a small London club show.
The band invited 600 fans to the House of Vans in London on release day, where they performed for two-hours. Their set spanned their lengthy catalog and included several songs off the new album, including “Hardwired,” “Atlas, Rise!” and “Moth Into Flame” as well as the Budgie cover “Breadfan” alongside fan favorites “Sad But True,” “One,” “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman.”
For those who didn’t get an invite to the intimate club show, Metallica’s London gig is available to watch for a limited time via the band’s YouTube channel. Watch their energetic two-hour set below in its entirety.
