According to EW.com, Tom Hardy, best known as Batman’s grunting enemy Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, has signed on to play Sir Elton.

Elton John is giving fans a taste of his long-awaited upcoming album The Diving Board with his new music video for “Home Again.”
In 1985, Elton John had a Top 10 hit on the Billboard 200 with “Nikita,” the jaunty ballad about unrequited love during the Cold War.
A statement posted to the singer’s official site explained that John had called doctors in the midst of his tour through Europe, with the medical team discovering an inflamed appendix and a surrounding abscess.
