Bridge School Benefit Concert
The Bridge School Benefit Concert is an annual event: an all-acoustic concert headlined by Neil Young, it always attracts a wide variety of artists. This year’s lineup includes Guns ‘N Roses, Jack White and Steve Martin. In the past, artists as diverse as Metallica, Tony Bennett, Norah Jones and The Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed at the concert. But what is The Bridge School?
Neil Young and his long time-band Crazy Horse are about to release their second album of the year: Psychedelic Pill will follow Americana by less than five months when it is released on October 30. Psychedelic Pill, as previously reported, will be a double album (or a 3 LP set), and there will be a video for each of the album’s songs.
Axl Rose may have to stick to a schedule for once: he and Guns N Roses have signed on to perform at this years Bridge School Benefit Concert, and the young audience have a curfew to stick to. Also on the bill: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, comedian Steve Martin and his bluegrass group The Steep Canyon Rangers, The Flaming Lips, Jack White, Sarah McLachlan, Foster The People, Lucinda Williams, k.d. lang and Gary Clark Jr.
