Call it a Christmas miracle or, maybe more accurately, a mistake, but for a short time over the weekend, Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming album was available to download a few weeks earlier than originally expected.

The lyric sheet, which dates back to 1974, was written in his hometown of Long Branch, NJ. The lyrics are written in blue ink on an 8 1/2-by-11 sheet of ruled notepaper.

The university has revealed that it will be offering a semester-long, freshman seminar on Springsteen, which will be led by professor Azzan Yadin-Israel, a Jewish studies and classics specialist. The class will focus on the religious influence on Springsteen’s work, and the syllabus will span the entire discography.
