Former Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon pulls no punches in her upcoming memoir, going in on Smashing Pumpkins, Courtney Love and her ex-husband, Thurston Moore.
Courtney Love will play a “hard rock powerhouse, who is part of Empire Entertainment’s stable of artists.”
Watch her perform ‘All I Ever Wanted’ from the musical, coming to New York this week.
“We agreed that because Courtney was a subject in the film, it would be best if she wasn’t given editorial control,” Morgen said of her behind-the-scenes ouster from the project.
The opera will take place at New York’s ‘Prototype: Opera/Theater/Now Festival’ in January.
Whoever said Courtney was a drug-addled trainwreck now has PROOF to back up their claim!
What would you do with $27 million?
“Some beautiful blond, tragic, gorgeous actor boy is hitting on me, and why? He wants to play Kurt. So I am moving that over to the agency side. I am not Cecil B. DeMille or anything like that.”
“He wrote to every major, minor label: ‘We’ll pay. Let us be on your label.’ He was desperate to be the biggest rock star in the world. But he made it look like it was thrust upon him.”
Ms. Love can’t stay outta the news these days…
