Duran Duran may be suing their fan club, but they want to know that you — the fans — aren’t their actual target.
Duran Duran is taking their own Chicago-based fan club to court.
The upcoming collection is entitled ‘Making Patterns Rhyme: A Tribute to Duran Duran,’ with the title taken directly from the lyrics of the band’s 1981 debut single, “Planet Earth.”
Nile Rodgers is a well-liked guy. As the leader of Chic, he’s responsible for some of the biggest hit singles ever, including “Le Freak” and “Good Times.” And as a producer, he’s helmed records by Madonna, David Bowie, David Lee Roth and Mick Jagger. So, it’s no surprise that he has a lot of famous friends, many of whom sent him video or voicemail messages to celebrate his 60th birthday.
Duran Duran is ending their North American tour earlier than expected due to illness.
