October 28 at The Beacon Theatre in New York marks the “final” concert for the Allman Brothers Band.
Now, the legendary Allman Brothers Band member is being sued himself — along with, again, those behind the movie.
Earlier this month, Gregg Allman filed a lawsuit against the producers of Midnight Rider, the biopic based on his memoir, My Cross To Bear. Now, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Allman has dropped his suit.
“The great thing that Gregg Allman and the Allman Brothers and a lot of people from that era did best is they let the music be the music.” – Eric Church
“As for the rumor of the brothers breaking up after 45 years… that is a rumor.”
“It honors the legacy to leave it at a really high mark.”
They’ve had family members fill in for injured founders.

The accident took place on February 20, while the crew was shooting a sequence on railroad tracks, and is currently the subject of a homicide investigation.
