Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds Wins Big as Miguel, Jon Bon Jovi Sets Highlight Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremony
Jon Bon Jovi filled in for Kinks frontman Ray Davies, Donovan performed two of his classics and Miguel, A Great Big World, Martina McBride and Candice Glover paid tribute to legendary songwriters while Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons stripped down his band’s biggest hit at last night’s Songwriters Hall of Fame awards in New York City.
Also being inducted: former 10cc member Graham Gouldman, who wrote “For Your Love” for the Yardbirds.
One famously cranky rock critic “Ripped us to pieces in the press, and I found out that he had these parties at his house on weekends, where he always played at least two Foreigner songs.”
