Soundgarden’s reunion has been going on for a while: after frontman Chris Cornell tweeted “School’s back in session” on January 1, 2010, the band headlined that summer’s Lollapalooza. In 2011, they toured, and earlier this year, they released a brand new song, “Live To Rise” from the soundtrack to “The Avengers.”
Good to see Chris Cornell hasn’t lost his patented Banshee Wail–thought those years of non-Soundgarden “acoustic-ness” might’ve depleted it without the proper use. Glad to hear that I was WRONG!
